Assalamu Alaykum I am teacher Saadiqa, the 3-6 Islamia Montessori class directress. My classroom is a safe space where the Montessori method is followed, and children are respected as individuals regardless of their age. Children are encouraged to be independent and work at their own pace, while being allowed to work with materials that interest them, and guided to activities that are developmentally and academically appropriate. In this classroom, we have incorporated the foundations of Islam into the curriculum, which fosters an interest in learning about their creator, the pillars of Islam, history and seerah, reading the Arabic alphabet, learning daily duahs and shorter surahs, aswell and practicing etiquette in everything that they do. One of the main reasons I enjoy working at Dream Big Montessori is that I am supported by an amazing team who are hardworking, kind, respectful, and display a love and passion for nurturing young minds.

Asalamu alaykum my name is Teacher Shakeelah and I'm head of the 3-6 mixed aged classroom. My classroom is a safe space where children have freedom to move around and work at their own pace . The classroom is prepared in a certain way to encourage independence,it is a class where the children feel comfortable to learn and also be creative. My purpose as a teacher is to be their guide, to provide them with the necessary tools to allow them to develop to their full potential. Why I like working at Dream big: It's been an absolute pleasure being part of the team at Dream big . I enjoy working at Dream Big as it's not only a beautiful and safe environment for the children but also an environment where teachers can express themselves and get creative. It's my home away from home The dreambig team is amazing Always ready to help each other out ,very considerate and understanding We also do not shy away from having fun and that why I enjoy working at Dream big .

Why I enjoy being a Montessori teacher: I enjoy teaching in a Montessori environment because it is totally different to teaching in a traditional schooling environment. I am able to work with each child individually, getting to know each of their personalities, strengths and weaknesses which helps me provide to their specific needs. Why do I enjoy working at Dream Big Montessori: At Dream Big Montessori we are basically a family . We are able to ask each other for guidance and advice freely. When in need of help there is always a helping hand whether it be in the 3-6 environment or toddler environment.

My purpose for teaching in the toddler class is to encourage self confidence and promote independence in my learners to make choices on their own. I create a prepared environment that encourages the willingness to learn and play at the same time. I have a passion to work with children and more specifically with toddlers . Toddlers go through many stages of development and sensitive periods and I am able to understand them and guide them with love and respect. I like dream big Montessori because you are given opportunities to grow and learn in the school environment freely
