Infant Stage

This stage lasts from 8 weeks to 1 year old. During this stage they’re in a sensitive period for movement and language. Your little one will start to crawl and walk and talk. Our teachers really honour this sensitive period by encouraging them to move their bodies during work cycle and outside time. We also experience lots of babbling, sounds and words as they try to express themselves and interact with the people and peers around them.

Toddler Stage

This stage lasts from 1 year to 3 years old. We have a curious cat on our hands! During this stage your child is exploring their world and they’re extremely curious. Children of this age are in a sensitive period for language. They’re learning to communicate and their vocabulary will begin to expand. Our teachers will constantly observe learners to know when they’re in a sensitive period so they’re able to cultivate their potential in this time. During this stage we also experience a sensitive period for order. Our teachers allow for this period through the material on the shelves and their daily schedule. We also encourage independence during this stage.
